Great prices! great staff! The front desk manager heated up water for my french press, ha! And he also went out of his way and mailed items I had accidentally left behind. Super Impressed!
Shockingly extremely Comfortable beds for a Motel 6. Very beautiful decor. If you bathe and see brown water, its not you, its that nice dirty finish in the water the unclean sewage welcomes you with. Make SURE you pay before you come or else if you pay at the desk you may be charged an extra 20.00. You will anyway if you are legally married for over a decade and reserved a single bed, unless you go upstairs. Every person that rents a room is NOT going to trash, smoke up(I DONT SMOKE..CANT STAND IT), or wreck the place. Some people were raised properly. I would recommend this place beside that
Pulled in here late on July 4th for a place to do laundry and sleep headed to Missouri for a family emergency. The gentleman at the desk was very accommodating, opening his closed laundry area for us to use as well as putting our room right by the laundry. I wish I would have taken pictures! The room was a smoking double room and it was super clean, didn't smell like smoke (actually smelled nice), beds and towels were soft!
The hotel looked nice and has obviously been recently remodeled. The beds were pretty comfy (although the bedding/ covers were very dated and not so great) and the fridge was great to have. However, there were little dead beetles all along the walls of our room (I think our last count was 8) and a dead spider in another area- didn't seem like much detail was paid in the cleaning aspect. Also, the "breakfast" was a couple options of cereal and some muffins in a Tupperware container.
There weren't a lot of lodging options in this area, this particular facility received decent ratings, but our stay wasn't the best. It appeared clean but for the corners in tiled areas. The bed was much harder than we were accustomed to which made it impossible to get comfortable, the top sheet was put on wrong which made it too short to pull up past about midway into our torsos and by the time we dropped into bed, we were far too tired to strip and remake it. It's important to me to have the ability to fold the sheet down over top coverings, particularly in public lodges where the coverings are not laundered after each use. The blanket on top of the sheet was quite scratchy which was just unpleasant. Toiletries were sparse/cheap, but not a problem as we always travel with our own. The woman that checked us in was pleasant.
