Although this is no longer a state park, it is great park! The Chickasaw Nation has taken ownership and have done an amazing job of maintaining the grounds. My son played for hours on the playground while I cooked and set up camp at a nearby campsite. I enjoyed the fitness equipment (I can't remember what they called it) that was set up around the playground. There were many educational signs posted which we enjoyed reading as we learned about the history of Boggy Depot. The couple who host the park were very friendly. The park was so well-kept. I enjoyed it. My only suggestion would be recycling bins.
Great place for camping and fishing in a country setting the care taker is very nice and helpful they also replaced the play ground equipment hot showers clean restrooms they have a basketball pad with two nets, a baseball field and wonderful walking trails really a must visit place for piece of mind
Heated or AC cooled showers/restrooms. Nice woodsy camp areas. Even the wife liked it so that's the best review any place could hope for.
A good campground. Clean restrooms, picnic tables, a playground for the kids, and at least one pavilion for rent if you need one. Wet did end up not staying though, because the weather was bad (tornado season) and there was no cell service for us to keep track of the weather with.
Best place ever loved it we were the only people there .
