There are RV hookups, primitive campgrounds, and lake huts available on the other side of the lake. I stayed at the late huts, which have electricity and heat/air, but no plumbing. There's a camp public restroom available with showers

Beautiful, rugged, diverse landscape with well marked multi-use trails.
The scenic nature area has nice hiking trails through rocky wooded areas, with maps of each tail asking with distances. A permit is required to enter, but it's free (just gives feedback to the park officials).
Note: This is not the State Park area with facilities. Location is remote and isolated at the end of a 10 mile long, poorly maintained road. Check in at the main house/entrance and grab a map out of the box. Maps are somewhat crude but the trails are pretty well marked once you get out on them. I suggest you study a detailed topo map of this area before you arrive. Lots of elevation change on the property- this is not flat land. Some trails can be rocky and steep. Abundant trees provide good canopy and shade. There are bathrooms and water at the entrance but no other facilities on the property.
